Raised on the family farm in Henry County, Illinois, Eva began quilting, machine embroidery, garment sewing and longarm quilting at age 13.
She continued her passion of sewing throughout high school, entering in county fairs and winning Best of Show throughout different counties around the state. She continued her love of sewing in college when she attended Southern Illinois University in Carbondale, majoring in Fashion Design and Merchandising.
After graduating in May 2018, Eva went to work for multiple retail companies and realized her passion is in quilting. She was hired at Expressions in Threads in LeClaire, IA and saw there was an opportunity to create her own business and created Eva Dynes Designs offering services of garment sewing, alterations . She expanded her business in September 2019 by purchasing a new Nolting 30 Pro Series Longarm on a 12 foot frame and for now she is only doing edge to edge quilting.
